I am Kasper Stoll,

a 3D animator and sculptor. I create films and figures with detailed designs and strong stories. My work aims to entertain and inspire others through rich visuals and storytelling

My Goal and Statement

I am Kasper Stoll, a first-year animation major and a production design minor. I aim to create using multiple 3d media, primarily Stop Motion Animation. Stop Motion is my preferred style of animation because of how much work goes into it and how detailed it is. I want to create deep narratives in each of my art pieces. To do this successfully, I’ll need to learn how to create complex characters and scenes that drive the narrative. Thankfully, I love to spend time crafting and shaping miniature plot worlds and seeing how I can make them interconnect. Crafting this universe of deeper themes is so enriching to me and especially rewarding after seeing something that is complete after all my work is done. In the past, my work has been more focused on the visual rather than the deeper meaning. Comparing it to my latest work, I was more thoughtful with creating a space and a “world” for the viewer to immerse themselves in. It was easier to pick and choose the colors rather than stick with a smaller color palette due to a lack of resources. For example, some of my work is spent creating worlds around animals and their connection to humanity. My main point in making these pieces is that the line between humans and animalistic instinct is thin. , I create art to tell a story and to immerse my audience into a world with underlying deep narrative themes. I hope that I can create productions that do exactly that to share them with the world.
